New Group formation:
During the month a total of 35 members formed 3 Self-Help Groups and 1 Joint Liability Group at Mundargi, Shirahatti, Lakshmeshwara and Gadag to examine suitable livelihood options.
Bank account opening:
New group bank accounts were opened for 1 Joint Liability Group and 5 Self-Help Groups at Mundargi, Shirahatti, Lakshmeshwara and Gadag in KCC and KVG Banks.
Creating Awareness:
Disability awareness materials were distributed to 17 Gram Panchayats in Gajendragad Taluk in Gadag district.
Disability Awareness Programme:
We organized Disability Awareness and Community Sensitization Programme at Naregal Hobli in Gajendragad taluk in Gadag district.
Arambha Svaudyog Kendra (Ask Center) Inauguration:
Arambha Svaudyog Kendra (ASK Center) which will be a one-stop shop for livelihood, enterprise development and financial inclusion queries for persons with disabilities was inaugurated at Mevundi village in Gadag district.
Surakshita Disabled Persons Cooperative Society Inauguration:
Inauguration of Surakshita Disabled Persons Cooperative Society took place in Mevundi village in Gadag district.
Exposure visit:
Members of Self-Help Groups from Nargunda Block Muncipal visited our office, horticulture / agriculture plot; ASK Center and activity center at Mevundi village in Gadag district.
School visit with LeTS team:
We visited schools in Mevundi village with the team of ‘Learn Through Stories (LeTS) Foundation to prepare a road map to start enabling students to learn through content they will themselves help produce.

Tailoring training for women continued at our Tailoring and Apparels Unit at Mevundi village in Gadag district.
