Objectives:

Examine the changing landscape of entrepreneurship and leadership development as it relates to people with disabilities.

Synthesize learning from best practice to enhance personal effectiveness and build individual and community resilience.

Identify and highlight viable and sustainable rural livelihood options that can be used to promote economic independence and empowerment of people with disabilities and their families across gadag district.

Share insights and success stories

The workshop will..  

Bring together key people who are leaders in the field of disability, community, organization and development, integrated farming systems, entrepreneurship and social enterprise development.

Draw upon and build on the available evidence from inclusive development programme.

Provide practical examples of how sustainable livelihood rural opportunities can be adopted by people with disabilities and their families.

Identify key entrepreneurship and development challenges and take actions to address them.
