Raising awareness on Covid appropriate behaviour

Raising awareness on and work with the community to practice Covid appropriate behaviour, adapt and manage the virus in day-to-day life.

Identifying individual needs arising out of Covid-19

We identified and gathered specific individual needs arising out of Covid-19 and recommended appropriate intervention required.

Assistance of vaccine registration

During the month, we assisted people with disabilities and their families to register for Covid-19 vaccinations in Mevundi village.

Developing scripts and training videos

We have developed scripts for farm-based training videos which will be uploaded to our website shortly.

Intercropping practices in early monsoon and soil testing programme

Uma Shirol, our Programme Coordinator attended an online ‘Intercropping in early monsoon and soil testing and soil fertility management practices’ training programme. The training included:

  • Characteristics of Soils 
  • Problems found in soil  
  • Benefits of Sustainable Agricultural Steps 
  • Impacts of organic manure use and improvement of land soils
