New Group Formation:
During the month, a total of 163 members formed 16 self-help groups at Mundargi and Gadag to examine suitable livelihood options.
Group bank account opening:
Group bank accounts were opened for a total of eight self-help groups involving 40 persons with disability and 40 women members at KCC and KVG banks.
Group trainings:
We conducted disability awareness, financial literacy and leadership skills development trainings at Mundargi, Gadag and Shirahatti taluks for a total of 18 self-help groups involving 162 members.
Paper bag making training camp:
We conducted a paper bag making training camp for 21 persons with disability at Mevundi in Mundargi taluk.
Bank linkage:
Bank linkage was provided for two self-help groups Huchireshwara SHG and Adhara Sthamba SHG at Mevundi village in Mundargi Taluk.
Baseline survey:
District-wide sustainable livelihood survey, community needs mapping family visioning and SWOT analysis continued during the month.
Tailoring training:
Tailoring and apparels training continued at our training center at Mevundi village in Gadag district.
Vermicompost:
Vermicompost harvesting and pit filling work at our agriculture and horticulture plot at Mevundi village in Gadag district.
