Joint Liability Group meetings:
Book keeping meeting was conducted at Eklasapur village in Gadag district for members of Manjunatha JLG. Livelihood options and bank loan options were also discussed during the meeting.
Financial literacy training:
Financial literacy training conducted by DEAL Foundation to members of Aunshree JLG at Eklasapur village in Gadag district.
Joint Liability Group bank loan application:
DEAL Foundation assisting members of Ambedkar JLG at Eklasapur village in Gadag district to apply for bank loan which will further help them become financially independent.
DEAL Foundation assisting members of Annadaneshwara JLG at Venkatapura village in Gadag district in applying for bank loan thus allowing them to explore ways in becoming financially and economically independent.
Achieving financial inclusion:
Members of Jyothi JLG at Harogeri village in Gadag have taken their first step towards financial inclusion by opening their group bank account.
Livelihood Training Programme:
Livelihood Training Program for JLG and SHG members was conducted jointly by Department of Agriculture Mundargi, Mrs Jayashree Hiremath under the ATMA project and DEAL Foundation in Mevundi village Gadag. A total of 55 women participated in this training programme.
Exposure visit:
DEAL Foundation & Department of Agriculture Gadag organized an exposure visit on dairy farming, organic farming, goat & sheep rearing and Farmer Producers Organizations for Joint Liability Groups. A total of 35 members attended this exposure visit.
Cooperative Society board members meeting:
Supported by DEAL Foundation, communities of persons with disabilities in Mundargi Taluk, Gadag have come together to establish a Cooperative Savings & Credit Society to help accelerate the pace of financial inclusion and economic regeneration in the lives of persons with disabilities and their families.

Rathnavva, a member of JLG at Eklasapur in Gadag is now involved in dairy farming after completing her Livelihood Training at DEAL Foundation
Ganagmma, a member of Aunshree JLG from Eklasapur village in Gadag is now involved in dairy farming after completing her Livelihoods Training from DEAL Foundation.
Vanajakshi from Halligudi village in Gadag has been successfully running a provision store after completing her livelihoods training with DEAL Foundation
Tailoring training unit:
Tailoring training classes continued at our Tailoring Training Unit at Mevundi village in Gadag district.
Maize crop sowing:
Maize crop sowing at DEAL Foundation’s agriculture and horticulture training plot at Mevundi village in Gadag district.
Panchagavya preparation:
Panchagavya preparation at DEAL Foundation’s agriculture and horticulture training plot at Mevundi village in Gadag district. Panchagavya is an organic product having the potential to play the role of promoting growth and providing immunity in plant system.
Jeevamrutha preparation:
Jeevamrutha preparation at DEAL Foundation’s agriculture and horticulture training plot at Mevundi village in Gadag district. Jeevamrutha is a natural liquid fertilizer It is made by mixing water, manure, and urine from cows with some mud from the same area as the manure will be applied in later.
Vermicompost harvesting:
Vermicompost harvesting and pit filling work continued at Mevundi village in Gadag district.
