New group formation:
During the month a total of 130 members formed 13 self-help groups in Mundargi and Gadag taluks to examine suitable livelihood options.
Group bank account opening:
Group bank accounts were opened in Mundargi, Gadag, Shirahatti and Nargund taluks at KCC a\nd KVG banks.
Bank linkage:
Bank linkage was provided for Yellamma Devi SHG from Eklasapur and Valmiki SHG from Mevundi at KVG bank Mevundi.
Livelihood activity at ASK Center in Mevundi:
Sharamma, Shruti and Saraswati of Swatantra JLG started their roti making business at our ASK center in Mevundi village.
Entrepreneurship development training:
Members of Valmiki SHG and Swathra JLG attended entrepreneurship development training at our ASK Center in Mevundi village.
Disability awareness and financial literacy training:
We conducted disability awareness and financial literacy training for JLG/SHG groups in Mundargi and Gadag taluks.
SIDBI Staff visit to our project site:
Mr. Mohd Haroon, Associate Manager-Financial Inclusion from SIDBI visited our project site and attended Surakshita Cooperative Society board meeting. He also visited the ASK Center and interacted with FPO and SHG members in Mevundi village in Gadag district.
Tailoring training:
Tailoring training continued at our tailoring and apparel training center at Mevundi village in Gadag district.
Vermicompost:
Vermicompost harvesting and pit filling work continued at our agriculture/horticulture plot at Mevundi village in Gadag district.
