New groups formation:
During the month a total of 105 members formed 10 Self-Help Groups at Mundargi and Gadag taluks to examine suitable livelihood options.
New group bank account opening:
Bank accounts were opened for new group members at KVG bank and KCC banks.
Bank linkages:
Two groups, Swathantra JLG and Ambedkar JLG were provided bank linkage with KVG bank.
Creating awareness:
Disability awareness materials were distributed to 23 Gram Panchayat and 2 Taluk Panchayat offices at Lakshmeshwara and Nargunda Taluks.
Disability awareness programme:
We conducted disability awareness and community sensitization programmes at Lakshmeshwara and Nargunda taluks.
Financial inclusion training:
We conducted financial inclusion and financial literacy training in collaboration with KVG bank at Mevundi village in Gadag district.
SHG concept and book keeping training:
We conducted SHG concept and book keeping training for 7 Self-help groups at Mundargi and Gadag taluks.
Monthly meetings:
Monthly meetings were conducted for self-help groups.
Tailoring training:
Tailoring and apparel training continued at our tailoring training center at Mevundi village in Gadag district.
Forthcoming event highlights:
- 10 new self-help groups including 10 persons with disabilities to be formed
- Bank linkage for 2 self-help groups
- Capacity building and livelihood training for 10 groups

- Vermicompost preparation work
