Deal Foundation is working in 7 talukas of Gadag district and details of activities and events in the month of December

  1. The following are the details of the formation of the Self Help Society of the Handicapped and Women in the month of December.

In this month, a total of 9 self-help societies have been formed in Mundaragi and Shirahatti taluks and there are 90 members. 9 self-help societies of disabled people, the purpose of which is for the disabled members to take loans from the bank for self-employment.

  1. Board meeting of Safe Credit Cooperative Society was held at Mevundi village in Mundaragi taluk. In the meeting Sidbi and Deal Foundation staff participated and discussed the work activities.

4. In Naragunda Shirahatti Mundaragi taluks, total 120 members of Disability Self Help Society in 12 Disability awareness training, economic finance training and leadership training. Entrepreneurship training and sustainable livelihood training were conducted for members of the disabled group.

6) A program was organized at Karnataka State Rural Development Institute, Gadag in which the members of Eco Prosperity Farmers Producers Company and staff members of Deal Foundation participated.

7) Farmers Day was celebrated in village Shesnoor by Agriculture Department, Mundaragi. Members of our association and farmers participated in Farmers Day workshop.

8) A total of 55 families with disabilities have been surveyed in this month

9) Preparation of earthworm manure in the tank of Deal Foundation organization and removal of manure and putting it in three acres of tank and sale of earthworm manure in exhibition and giving trainings on earthworm preparation to disabled families and self help societies.
